Hello and welcome. Today's Team Challenge was to use the Stampin' Up! ® Country Home stamp set and the colours of Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, and Cinnamon Cider. This is the card I came up with. I love how easily those colours evoke and country farmhouse feel that suits this sweet stamp set. Team Challenges help us think creatively when we are pushed to use colours or sets that we don't immediately gravitate to.
I used Cinnamon Cider cardstock for the base. I cut a layer of Whisper White which I coloured using the selected Classic Stampin' Pads and sponge daubers. I then cut a piece of Flowers for Every Season DSP using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and layered it over the coloured Whisper White layer.
Images from the stamp set were then stamped out using Mossy Meadow on Whisper White and coloured using Daubers. The flower image was stamped onto watercolour paper and coloured with watercolour pencils and blended with a fine brush. The images were all the fussy cut and added to the front of the card. I added a piece matching ribbon from my stash to tie it all in together. I add a Whisper White insert to my card and stamp an image or sentiment and also stamp a matching image on my envelope.
