Tracy and I are continuing to participate in Team Challenges to motivate and encourage ourselves to use colour combinations and Stamp sets that might be different to our usual style. I know this type of motivation works very well for me.
The parameters of this challenge were Today's Tile Stamp set, Rich Razzleberry colour, Gold Foil Sheets and a Die.
For this card, I used Rich Razzleberry Cardstock to create a base card and Whisper White Cardstock for layer one. The Whisper white layer was cut using the largest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and a smaller layer of Rich Razzleberry was cut using the third die size. Each layer was embossed around the edges using Versamark Stamp pad and Stampin' Emboss in Gold.
A little tip for using Today's Tiles is to use a Stamperatus to help position the layers. For my second layer, I stamped with Versamark and embossed with Stampin' emboss Gold.
I used the Trio of Tags Die to cut a gold foil mount for my sentiment and stamped "Namaste" on a small piece of Whisper White then used a small oval from the Stitched Shape die to cut it out. I mounted this to the front of my card.
I always finish my cards with a Whisper White insert with a sentiment or image to match the front of the card and a matching envelope.
